How the LED Laser Works

The LED Laser continuously removes hair by directing a concentrated beam of light of a certain wavelength to an area with unwanted hair. Radiation is absorbed by melanin, a dye found in the hair follicle, which causes thermal destruction of the cells responsible for hair growth. This process leads to a gradual decrease in the amount and density of hair on the treated surface of the skin.

A diode laser with a wavelength of 1064nm penetrates deeper than a wavelength of 755nm, which allows it to reach deeper layers of the skin.

The 808nm wave, like the 755nm wave, is well absorbed by melanin and has a longer range, which means it can reach more hair follicles.

The 755nm wave is precisely and effectively absorbed by melanin, but it acts shallower than the 808nm wave, which translates into less pain during the procedure.
